Ideally the best practice is to place the moisture meter on the surface to be measured, take reading, then lift the meter clear and move to the next location to be tested. However, for those who prefer to slide the meter between readings, these self-adhesive slide protectors will minimise any damage to soft or freshly painted surfaces while avoiding wear of the soft rubber electrodes.
